Privacy policy

What we collect through this website, why, and how we protect it. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

What we collect

When you send a consultation request, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, city, preferred meeting format, best time to reach you, the topics you're interested in and your message.

We don't ask for, and you shouldn't send through this website, your Social Insurance Number, health information, or bank, account or policy numbers. If a plan needs those details, we'll collect them later through a secure process.

The calculators on this website run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into them is sent to us or stored.

How we use it

  • To reply to your request and arrange a consultation.
  • To keep a record of our conversation with you.

We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we don't use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

Service providers

  • Form delivery: requests are delivered to us by email through Formspree, a form processing service. Formspree may store submissions on servers outside Canada, including in the United States, where they may be subject to the laws of that country.
  • Hosting and analytics: this website is hosted by Vercel. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count visits and measure page speed. These tools don't use cookies and don't identify you personally.

Cookies

This website doesn't set cookies for tracking or advertising.

Security and retention

This website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections and uses strict security settings to limit which services can load or receive data. We keep enquiry records only as long as we need them to serve you or to meet legal and regulatory obligations, then delete them securely.

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to being contacted. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond within 30 days.
